10 miles along west river drive. The run included 8 hill repeats up black road and sweetbriar dr including 4 @ HMP (approx 200m). I am not used to hills so my legs were feeling it by the end of the run. I'm looking forward to incorporating som hill workouts going forward as I think they will help build strength and speed. I just found out yesterday that there will be a new half marathon in Philly in march. The course will be similar to the rock n roll half but will include some hills during the last few miles, including black rd. |
